Super Bowl Snacks

2/2/2016

We keep getting flyers in the mail with these great looking Super Bowl spreads. It's got me thinking about what I can serve while we watch the Super Bowl this Sunday. . . And I thought maybe you were thinking the same thing.  So here are some good old favorites that would be tasty party food for the big game!
Hot Artichoke Dip
This dip is SO good! I remember we all really enjoyed it at my Mom's one New Year's Day. Well, you can tell that we didn't quite get a picture fast enough so had to settle for a partially eaten shot. ;-) That's how good it is! With all of those great ingredients, how can you go wrong?? Dip Cheese Lace Crackers in it, or veggies such as baby carrots and cucumber slices.

Cheese Lace Crackers These crackers have been a mainstay for me on the SCD. They can be made on a greased glass plate in the microwave, or in a pan. They're quick and easy, and we think they taste even better than ordinary cheese crackers. Dip them in the Hot Artichoke Dip or one of the salsas or guacamoles below. You gotta love that crunch!

Try one of these great sauces and salsas with Cheese Lace Crackers. Classic Super Bowl fare, only healthier! Yum.

Party Poppers would be fun to try. Hearty and flavorful, they're a great appetizer.

Italian Crock Pot Beef is an easy recipe that would be delicious with Easy Sandwich Bread or even as a side dish. You can serve it to everyone proudly, and provide some non-SCD rolls for them to make sandwiches with.

Make your own sandwich with Easy Sandwich Bread. I love to toast this bread in my toaster oven before making a sandwich to give it a more bread-like texture. Pile some Italian Crock Pot Beef on and make a delicious sandwich.

This has been fun! My guys are looking forward to the game, and I think I'll try out some of these recipes for all of us.

Have a great time!
