This is one of my favorite recipes from our NoMoreCrohns website. It makes a great easy crock pot dinner for the family or when guests are joining us. It also can be made in a dutch oven before dinner. . . whatever fits your schedule best!
I like to add cauliflower rice or faux mashed potatoes, and applesauce on the side. The flavors are incredible. Seasoned with thyme and sage, it has a very homey, comforting taste which reminds me of Thanksgiving. Definitely a comfort food! Use an SCD-legal apple cider of your choice to cook it in. There is a downloadable recipe here. Enjoy! ~ Erin
