This great tip came from Alison, a reader of this blog. It's a great idea! She says she used this bread-shaped mold to shape our Easy Sandwich Bread recipe into a regular bread shape, and one batch makes 15 slices of bread. You could cook the bread on a griddle or in a pan. My husband created this recipe years ago, and it has been a staple around here every since. The bread has a great neutral flavor that makes yummy grilled cheese, peanut butter & honey, egg salad, or chicken salad sandwiches. Well, that is what I have used it for - but the sky is the limit on sandwich ideas! This is the picture Alison included of her chicken salad sandwich. Doesn't it look amazing? I love reading tips like this! Keep them coming! :)
Thanks, ~ Erin
